Which currency should I take on my trip?
The general rule is to have the currency of your destination. Although the American dollar and the Euro is generally accepted it is wiser to have the local currency as all products and attractions are displayed based on this. At our companies offices you can buy and sell currency from 100 different countries.
How much currency will I need?

Our advice is to buy currency according to what availability you have to spend on your trip. You want to enjoy your holidays to the maximum without having to worry about where you can change money.

Do I need to order the currency that I will need?
At our offices, most of the currencies are available at all times. However to avoid any shortages and delays you can order by contacting us. You can also choose the value of the bank notes that you will need.
What shall I do with the currency I didn’t use?
If you purchased the currency at one of our offices, you can exchange the money without commission by showing us your original receipt from when it was bought. Otherwise you can exchange the money at the best rates and the lowest commissions in the area.
What can I do if I need cash urgently when I’m abroad?

If you’re in need of cash urgently when abroad, you can receive it with the use of the international network-Western Union. All you have to do is ask someone very close to you to go to one of our offices and send the money in your name. The money is available in 10 minutes for you to pick up at one of the 50,000 allocated places, all over the world, so one is definitely near you.

What can I do with some old currency which I found in my house?
Kassapidis Exchange is the only company that buys most of the retracted bank notes such as the German mark, Austrian schilling, old Turkish lira, Bulgarian leva etc
What documents are required to buy and sell various currencies?
To buy or sell any currency which amounts up to 15,000 euros it is necessary to show some form of identification (identification card, passport, visa etc) a photocopy will be made. For amounts that exceed 15,000 euros, one more document is needed which states your address and your tax file number.
I have currency from another country which I have done business in. How can I get an official receipt for this?
Kassapidis exchange can issue a receipt if there is a document showing the exchange upon entering the country.
What can I do with the coins that are left over from my trip?
Kassapidis exchange is the only company which buys coins from 15 countries.
I am aware that at money exchange offices I will receive better rates than the rates banks offer but I’m afraid!
